You may be surprised at just how often we have heard this question at the Taos Ceramics Center. There are many generous people in our midst and so many who recognize the need and benefit of having a community ceramics studio in Taos.

​​From mothers looking to introduce their children to creative play to octogenarians wanting to keep the play going, to those of any age seeking an outlet from daily stress to the most serious of ceramic artists, the TCC plays a most important role.

The founders of the TCC undertook this venture in 2020 as a labor of love. In 2024, following more than a year in the tedious application process, the TCC was finally recognized as a charitable educational organization and received their approval as a nonprofit 501(c)(3). As a result, your financial contributions to the TCC are now 100% tax-deductible.

We now offer Sustaining Memberships to help make it easy for you to contribute to our vision for the future:

Mica Membership

With your tax-deductible donation of $100 to $999, you will become a TCC Mica Member and undoubtedly be a glimmering reflection of our organization. Along with our other Sustaining Members, you will be listed as a contributor on our website, and be made aware of all upcoming events, gallery openings, workshops and classes in advance of our general mailing list.  ​  ​

Stoneware Membership

Durable, practical, and highly functional are the hallmarks of this class of clay and an appropriate title for this level of membership! For a donation of $1000 to $4999, Stoneware Members receive the benefits of Mica Membership plus invitation to private events including gallery preview nights.  You will also receive a 10% discount towards classes and workshops.

Porcelain Membership

Forever the most treasured of clays for its strength and angelic luster, we thought it only fitting for our top tier of Sustaining Membership. With your gift of $5,000 or more you will receive all the benefits of Mica and Stoneware Membership plus receive a 10% discount on purchases at the TCC Gallery.​
